Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #47

Happy Sunday! It's time for another Cupcake Inspiration Challenge!! Here is this week's inspiration photo:

Here is my card:

I know, I know. I didn't use the colors from the photo, but I took the buttons and the sewing thread as my inspiration. These two embellishments are very important in this card.

As you can see, the colored image piece is really a bookmark and I used the buttons and the sentiment punch out as stoppers/frame to hold the bookmark in place. I think this card also qualifies for Kristina's A Year In Cards - February challenge at Two Peas. The challenge is to create a card that holds or contains a gift.

I used some cute papers from Cosmo Cricket's Material Girl collection and the buttons are from the Joy Ride and the Material Gril collections.

This beautiful digital stamp is called A Tasty Read illustrated by Elisabeth Bell. I was so excited to find out that she is coming out with digital stamps! =)

That's all I have for today. Don't forget to go and check out what other HSE Sweeties came up with! Here are the links:

Please go to Rachel's blog to find out how you can join us in this delicious challenge!

Love the bookmark and the card is so cute! I have a big reader in my house and this reminds me of here. She tends to get distracted just like the girl in the card.
